We are delighted that with the assistance of Saffrey Rotary Walk we have been ableto bring more Exchange students to Guernsey this year from Masnieres and send Guernsey studnets to France. Students aged 11 and 15 came to Guernsey this year on the annaual RGLI exchange visit with a packed programme the viisted counterparts in Blanchelande College, visted Herm with local guide Simon Wood and saw many of the cultural items of the island that are familiar to Guernsey, including the Firing of the Noon Day Gun and a visit to the RGLI Musuem at Castle Cornet.
At the same time officials engaged with the twinning of St Peter Port and Masnieres in the Department du Nord visited and spent time with our patrons, General Richard Cripwell and Sir Richard McMahon, also attending an event hosted by St Peter Port Parish
Guernsey students are due to visit Masnieres in June 2024 as part of this year's programme
