This year's response to the Regimental Dinner has been wonderful. It will take place on Friday 11th September at the Farmhouse Hotel in Guernsey, and is the largest venue so far to host the event. The additional room has seen the largest attendance yet with only a handful of tickets left.
"We have had the largest number of people sign up for our major fundraiser of the year, with some coming from the UK and as far away as Australia!'" said Martin Proudlove, the event organiser.
"This year we will be saying goodbye to Sir Richard McMahon as a Parton as he retires from his post as Bailiff and we are delighted that he will be our guest, together with Lindsay De Saumarez."
The Regimental dinner will focus around the historic Regimental Silver which will come out from the Guernsey Museum Service storage for a rare public display, much in the way it did over many years in the early part of the 1900's at the original dinners for veterans.
The RGLI would like to thank several sponsors this year who have made the event possible including Ravenscroft Capital, sponsors of the Champagne Reception, Vrac, Machons, Condor Ferries & Rocks.
