About the Event

The new Colours will be presented in a Service of Dedication & Consecration led by the Dean of Guernsey to the Crown and then the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, as the serving military unit, received on behalf of the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry in the manner in line iwth tradition. This Service has every effort made to ensure it is solemn, respectful and impressive.


Immediately afterwards there will be a Trooping of the Colours before the assembled Parade & Band outside the Church conforming with the normal protocols from which there will be a process through St Peter Port High Street, Smith Street to St Julian's Place and the Memorial.


All members of the public are invited, and it is understood this will be of particular interest to the families of the men who served in the Regiment. Serving and veterans please take this as intimation to attend in…
